GG Terms of Service

Welcome to GG, a social network for gamers, available at ggclips.lol, through the GG mobile app and, coming soon, through the GG desktop app. By creating an account or using GG, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, posting content, or otherwise using any GG service, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use GG.
GG is published by Seagull Studios, a French sole proprietorship (entreprise individuelle, EI) of Rémi Soubigou, SIREN 882 584 840, VAT number FR46882584840, registered in La Seyne-sur-Mer (83500), France. 2. Eligibility and age
GG is for people aged 13 and up. If you are under 15, you confirm you have the consent of a holder of parental authority to use GG. We may ask for proof of age and may suspend any account whose declared age appears inaccurate.
3. Your account and handle
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for any activity on your account. Your handle and search name must not impersonate anyone else, must not be misleading, and must not contain content prohibited under section 5. An account is personal and may not be transferred, sold, or shared.
4. Your content and the licence you grant us
You keep ownership of the content you post on GG (posts, images, videos, comments, messages, journal entries, and similar — "User Content").
By posting User Content to a public or shared part of GG (for example, a non-private profile, a public feed, or a comment), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (e.g. crop a thumbnail), and distribute that content within GG, solely to operate and improve the service (showing your content to other users, generating previews, and similar). This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already cached or shared by other users before deletion. We do not claim ownership of your User Content and do not sell it to third parties.
When a post is public, you also allow us to reuse it, free of charge, to promote GG (GG's social media accounts, the app's store listings, ggclips.lol), crediting your handle. Email contact@seagullstudios.fr and we will take a reuse down promptly. Private content, private profiles and messages are never used this way.
You warrant that you hold all rights necessary in the content you post (copyright, the image rights of anyone shown in it, and similar). A clip or screenshot recorded with a third-party tool (Steam, OBS, Nvidia, your device's recorder, and similar) and posted on GG is User Content all the same.
5. Zero tolerance: prohibited content and behavior
GG applies zero tolerance to the following content and behavior. The following are strictly prohibited:
- harassment, threats, intimidation, brigading, or any coordinated campaign against a person;
- hateful or discriminatory content targeting origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
- any sexual content involving minors, in any form — reported immediately to the competent authorities;
- illegal content (incitement to violence, glorification of terrorism, sale of illegal goods or services, identity theft, infringement of others' intellectual property);
- spam, unsolicited advertising, or automated fake-account campaigns;
- cheating, manipulating rankings or statistics, and ban evasion (creating a new account after a suspension);
- impersonating another person or entity;
- attempting to bypass the service's security, moderation, or technical limits.
This list is not exhaustive. Any violation may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent account deletion, without prior notice for the most serious cases.
6. Reporting, blocking, and moderation
GG gives you tools to report posts, comments, and accounts, and a tool to block other users. Reports of serious content (threats, harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, illegal content) are handled within 24 hours; other reports within 7 days at most. Content that breaks these Terms is removed and its author may be suspended or permanently banned. Blocking prevents direct interaction with the blocked person but does not retroactively remove any existing follow relationship.
We may, at our sole discretion, remove any User Content, hide a post or comment pending review, warn, suspend, or delete an account that violates these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on severity.
7. Referrals and invites
GG may be invite-only or use referral links. A referral link may only be used for personal invitations, never for mass advertising, spam, or compensation not authorized by us.
8. Third-party content
GG displays content from third-party services: embedded YouTube and Twitch videos and thumbnails, and game catalog data sourced from IGDB and Steam. This content belongs to its respective publishers and remains subject to their own terms. GG does not guarantee the accuracy of third-party game catalog data.
9. No warranty
GG is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that content posted by other users will be accurate, appropriate, or legal.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted under French law, our liability for any damages arising from your use of GG is limited to direct, foreseeable damage and capped at 100 euros. GG is provided free of charge, "as is": we are not liable for indirect damage (loss of data, opportunity or reputation), for content posted by users, for third-party services (sign-in, videos, game information) or for service interruptions. These limits do not apply to gross negligence or wilful misconduct on our part, or to bodily injury. Nothing in these Terms limits any right mandatorily granted to you under French consumer law, including for gross or willful misconduct, or for personal injury.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we will notify you in the app before it takes effect; continuing to use GG after that date means you accept the new Terms.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the app's settings (see the Privacy Policy, section 8). We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the Tribunal judiciaire de Toulon (France), subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules that let you bring a claim before the court of your place of residence.
