Rules and safety
GG is for sharing play. These rules keep it good for everyone, and this page says what to do when something goes wrong.
The rules
Respect other players
No harassment, threats, repeated insults or piling on someone.
No hate
Nothing that targets a person for their origin, religion, gender, orientation or disability.
No shocking content outside the game
No real violence, no sexual content, no glorifying terrorism. Recreating a real attack in a game counts too.
Protect privacy
Don't post someone's address, number, photos or personal details without their consent.
No scams or spam
No trapped links, account sales, fake giveaways or endless ads.
Be yourself
Don't pretend to be another player, a creator or a studio.
If something goes wrong
Report it
On a post, a comment or a profile, open the ⋯ menu and choose "Report". The person doesn't know who reported them.
Block them
From their profile. You no longer see their content, and direct messages stop both ways.
Keep a record
Take screenshots before blocking: they help if you decide to file a complaint.
Talk to someone
A friend, a trusted adult, or the 3018 helpline in France.
Every report lands in a queue the GG team reads itself. A post or comment that breaks these rules is hidden, and its author can be made read-only for 7 days, 30 days or until further notice: they can still read, but no longer post, comment, react, follow or send messages.
Need help now?
3018
France's helpline for harassment, cyberbullying, blackmail and shocking content. Free, anonymous and confidential, every day from 9 am to 11 pm, by phone, chat or app.
119
In France, for a child or teenager in danger, or worried about another. Free, 24/7.
Pharos
Report illegal content to the French authorities: threats, glorifying terrorism, incitement to hatred, endangering others.
Immediate danger: call 112 (17 for the police in France).
