Cyberpunk 2077: using the scanner and quickhacks

You need a cyberdeck with quickhacks installed.
Controls Scanner — TAB / LB / L1, then aim at the target Switch tabs (Data / Hacking) — Z / RB / R1 Activate a quickhack — F / X on Xbox / □ on PlayStation Hacking tips — U / L3, in each Quickhack menu
Scanner colours Gold — job-related items Red — danger Green — hackable devices Blue — interactive objects
Good to know Time slows down in the scanner: leave it so the quickhack runs quickly. An icon above the target shows how long the hack takes to activate, then how long it lasts. Quickhacks come pre-installed in the cyberdeck (devices), unlocked by perks (vehicles) or found in the world (antipersonnel). Each quickhack costs RAM, which recovers on its own over time. Intelligence improves your quickhacks, their RAM cost and recovery rate. It also unlocks Quickhack Queue (several hacks on one enemy) and Overclock Mode (pay with Health when RAM runs out).
